Code of Conduct

The Electronics Club of VIT believes our community should be truly open for everyone. We are committed to providing a professional, safe and welcoming environment and harassment-free experience for all participants, regardless of the following:

Our cryptic tech hunt goes around the clock providing opportunities to enlighten the class of bright minds in many ways. However to ensure a smooth flowing event, all participants, sponsors and attendees at Glitch 3.0 are required to agree with the following code of conduct. Organizers will enforce this code throughout the event. We are expecting cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.

Expected Behaviour:

  • Be considerate, respectful, and collaborative.
  • Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory or harassing behaviour and speech.
  • Be mindful of your fellow participants. Alert event organizers if you notice a dangerous situation or someone in distress.
  • Participate in an authentic and active way.
  • Only use official communication channels to contact members of the event organising team.
  • Only use ethical means to solve the questions.
  • Unacceptable behaviour includes but is not limited to:

  • Intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory or demeaning speech or actions.
  • Harmful or prejudicial verbal or written comments or visual images related to gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, disability or other personal characteristics, including those protected by law.
  • Any real or implied threat of professional or financial damage or harm.
  • Inappropriate disruption of events.
  • Photographing, video or audio recording of conversations or portions of the event without presenter/author’s permission.
  • Violating the rules and regulations of the online platform used for the event.
  • We do not tolerate harassment of event’s participants or organisers or attendees in any form.
  • No unauthorized impersonation will be accepted. Any unauthorized attempts to socially engineer another party through impersonation of another participant, or a member of the team will not be tolerated.
  • Attempts to disrupt the flow of the event
